This is where Tanzania really shows off. Our privately guided safaris take you beyond the brochures and into the real heart of the bush.
Whether you’re fresh off the mountain or skipping the climb altogether, we’ll shape the safari around you. Private, flexible, and designed with care.
Located in northern Tanzania, the Serengeti shares its northern border with Kenya, where it connects seamlessly with the Maasai Mara. As part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem; a vast, 30,000 square kilometer expanse and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The park stretches across the eastern Mara and Simiyu regions, with its western corridor reaching toward Lake Victoria. Most travelers access the Serengeti from Arusha, either by road (a rugged 6–7 hour drive, depending on the gate) or by bush flight into one of several nearby airstrips.
Ngorongoro Crater sits within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, about 180 kilometers west of Arusha in northern Tanzania. It’s the largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera on Earth — a geological wonder that drops roughly 600 meters from rim to floor.
The rim sits at around 2,200 meters (7,200 feet), offering dramatic views into a wildlife-packed basin below. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site and multi-use area, it’s also home to Maasai communities who live and graze alongside the resident wildlife.
Tarangire National Park is located about 120 kilometers southwest of Arusha, making it a convenient and rewarding stop on the northern safari circuit.
Spanning 2,850 square kilometers, the park centers around the Tarangire River, a vital water source that draws in large herds during the dry season. It’s known for its dramatic landscapes, towering ancient baobab trees, and that classic, wide-open African feel.
Lake Manyara National Park sits at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, just 90 minutes from Arusha on the way to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Covering around 330 square kilometers, the park is dominated by its namesake — an alkaline lake that takes up nearly two-thirds of the area.
Its setting creates striking contrasts, with dense forest, open savanna, and shimmering lakeshore all packed into a compact, wildlife-rich space.
No two safaris are the same. But most days follow a beautiful, unhurried rhythm. Here’s what a day in the bush might look like:
Start your day with a gentle knock and a tray of fresh coffee, tea, and homemade rusks. The light is soft, the air is cool, and the adventure is about to begin.
This is prime time. Wildlife is on the move! Lions returning from the hunt, elephants gathering at waterholes, and the plains waking up. Mid-drive, your guide pulls over for hot drinks and biscuits in the wild.
Back at the lodge or camp, brunch is waiting: fresh fruit, eggs to order, pancakes, and more. Swap stories, scroll through your camera roll, and breathe in the calm.
Take a dip in the pool, grab a nap, book a massage, or join a gentle bush walk if your lodge offers it. The time is yours.
Lunch is served al fresco. Crisp salads, grilled meats and local flavors. And often with a view of grazing animals near by.
It’s hot. You’re full. And your bed is calling. Take a break — the bush will be ready when you are.
A civilized pre-safari snack: iced drinks, homemade sweets, and maybe one more savory bite to fuel your evening drive.
As the day cools, wildlife stirs again. Your guide tracks the action, and you wrap up with sundowners at sunset. Think gin & tonic with an elephant silhouette in the distance. Not too shabby!
Dine under the stars or in a cozy boma. Multi-course meals, a bottle of red, and the sounds of the bush as your background serenade.
Chill out by the fire, sip a nightcap, then head to bed with the distant call of hyenas. But not to worry, your friendly Maasai warrior will escort you to your accommodation.
Whether you’ve got one day to spare or a full week to roam, we’ll help craft a custom safari that fits your timeline, interests, and comfort level. These examples are just starting points; every trip is private and fully tailored.
